Aram Hovhannisyan is a composer and flutist by profession, whose work over the past two decades has evolved across musical composition, artistic direction, and academic leadership. He currently serves as the Vice-Rector of the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan and the Artistic Director of both the "Assonance Ensemble" and the "Crossroads" International Contemporary Music Days. A graduate of the Geneva University of Music (HEM de Genève) and a laureate of numerous international competitions, he contributes to advancing contemporary music in Armenia through his leadership in systemic educational reforms and the promotion of modern electro-acoustic and chamber works.
