Marie Lou Papazian

Marie Lou Papazian is the CEO of the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies, a global network of free after-school educational centers where teens develop real-world skills in technology and design. Under her leadership, TUMO has grown across Armenia and worldwide, earning international recognition for its innovative education model.
With a background in engineering and a master’s in computing in Education from Columbia University, Marie Lou has built a career at the intersection of technology, education, and urban innovation. She previously led large-scale development projects in New York and served as Executive Director of the Education for Development Foundation in Armenia. She is also a graduate of Harvard Business School’s General Management Program and a recipient of France’s Ordre des Palmes Académiques for her contributions to education. She is passionate about reimagining education for the next generation and believes in the transformative power of creativity and access.
