Renata Lemos
Senior Economist, World Bank Education Global Practice
Renata Lemos is a Senior Economist at the World Bank. Prior to joining the Bank, she was a Lecturer in the Economics Department at Stanford University and a Research Associate at the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics, as well as at Harvard Business School. She earned her PhD from the University of Cambridge. Renata is affiliated with the Centre for Economic Performance, the International Growth Centre, and the Centre for Economic Policy Research. Her work focuses on managerial and organizational economics and development economics, with particular attention to emergency contexts. Her work spans regions including Latin America, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Africa, and covers social sectors, education, and healthcare.
